Hair Cut

Lawrence had his hair cut for the first time this week. He also took a tumble and scratched his chin.

Nicole took her piece to get fired in the kiln this week. The kiln workers were very impressed with her piece. We are all hoping it does not crack in the process. She will pick it up in a few days.

Clayton took his first of four finals this week. He will finish his last final on Friday night.

We got to "sit in" via telephone as CalDon was set apart as a missionary. We are praying that CalDon will get his visa so he can head to Peru.

We are looking forward to seeing family at the end of this week. We have so much to do before we leave for Utah and Clayton's first internship.

Lawrence loves Chinese Food

Lawrence had lots of fun this week. He went to the park on Saturday and played with the children of other law students at GW. Afterward, we met some of Nicole's friends from Kentucky at the National Botanical Gardens. Lawrence loved the tulips and the kids section. Then, we got some Chinese food. Lawrence especially liked the wanton soup.

Nicole has almost finished her sculpture! She just has a few more finishing touches before she takes to the kiln.

Clayton is now working to get ready for his finals.

Awesome Blossoms

Lawrence went to his first baseball game this week. He was less interested in the game and more interested in flirting with girls.

Nicole is almost finished with her bone marrow opposition piece. She put a lot of work into and it is going to be amazing.

Clayton accepted another internship for this summer. He will spend the last half of the summer at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He is excited to learn more about energy and natural resources law this summer.

We also took some pictures this week in the blossoms. Here is an unedited preview.
Lawrence loved soaring up into the blossoms.

Birthday!

Lawrence celebrated his first year of life on Friday. We were blessed to have David, Roxanne, Austin, Reagan, and Brittany visit. Lawrence had a huge piece of chocolate cake at Maggiano's. While everyone was in town we went to the temple and the National Mall. The cherry blossoms are just starting to bloom. We also had a crab boil on our back porch. Lawrence really wanted to play with a crab.

We also have other exciting news. Clayton accepted a summer clerk ship with a law firm in Utah. We will be heading out in mid May.
