Visitors

We have had a busy past few weeks, with family visiting. Brittany also stayed an extra week, or so, to help us get ready to move.

Clayton is finishing up his internship and summer classes. He also received an invitation to join the Federal Communications Law Journal. Clayton started applying for internships/summer associate positions for next summer.

Nicole finished her preliminary experiments with the clay piece she is working on and is now ready to sculpt a larger version.

Here are a few pics from the past two weeks

Clayton, CalDon and Brian ran a 5k on July 4th.
(CalDon only finished the race in half the time it took for Clayton and Brian to finish)

CalDon found a state park with his name (sort of)

and a road...

Lawrence wanted to play Skum with the kids.

Lawrence Finds a Finger

Lawrence has stated sucking his fist and fingers this week. He usually sucks on his whole fist but occasionally he finds an individual finger.

So the big news of this week is that we found a place to live for the rest of law school, maybe. We signed a contract for a lovely little town house. The only catch is that there is still someone living there and we hope that it is not to hard to kick them out. We really hope that everything goes smoothly, this would be a great place for us to live.

Other big news, Clayton's family had to evacuate their home, due to a wild fire. They had to leave for about a day and a half. Luckily no homes burned and they were able to return.

Lawrence continues to do well. He loves his swing and we love that it helps him sleep. He keeps getting bigger and bigger. He continues to "talk" to us in his baby babble.

We are so excited to have family coming into town! Amanda and Barrett will get here early this week and Roxanne and Brittany will get here the end of the week. Clayton's Parents and CalDon, Cailie, and Liesl will be arriving around July, 1st. We are so glad you can all come to visit. We are sad that David will not be with us, but we will do get to see him in about a month.

We took Lawrence to Ikea this week. He was very alert most of the time. We think he was a little confused by all the "houses." There were lots of interesting things for him to look at so he was happy.

Lawrence has a Cousin

Lawrence Plays With Bubbles

Baby Hazel
We are so excited for Mandolyn and Tyler! Baby Hazel is super cute. We told Lawrence that he has a cousin and he smiled really big.

This week we

(1) gave Lawrence a bath. He really likes bath time.

(2) went to see Snow White and the Huntsman. Nicole want to go see it and used some of her birthday money to get us tickets. Lawrence was really noisy so Clayton had to take him out.

(3) celebrated fathers day. Nicole made Eggplant Parmesan and we watched the fireflies.

(4) took Lawrence to the doctor. He had to get a shot and he was really grumpy for a few days.

(5) designed a T-shirt logo for CalDon. He got Clayton to sign up for a 5k and their team name is George and the Georgettes.

(6) and Nicole played the piano in sacrament meeting.

We think we may have found an apartment! We are going to look at it tomorrow.

It was great to talk to our fathers on Father's Day. We are so lucky to have such great fathers, and mothers. We look forward to seeing everyone in the upcoming weeks.
